Hello!

I have been teaching for twelve years. I have been teaching here at Burlingame for the last seven years. I grew up in the small town of Marion, Kansas. I graduated college from Emporia State; Go Hornets! My first few years of teaching were done as a part of the Southern Cloud district before I decided to move closer to my family.

I am the middle child of a family of five. My father was a Park Ranger for thirty years, my mother was nurse turned title one aid for Marion Elementary. I have two sisters one older and one your. My older sister is opening a barbecue restaurant with her husband and children. My younger sister is completing her second doctorate in Physical Therapy.

English has always been a passion of mine and I enjoy sharing it with others. I also enjoy teaching life skills such as cooking and sewing which is a new discovery.
